Year 4 Teacher Leighton Buzzard

An expanding lower school in Leighton Buzzard are looking for a Year 4 teacher to join their school as soon as possible. This is a full time position and will comprise full teaching responsibilities including planning and preparing, parents evenings and helping out with extra curricular activities.

The school is a two form entry with nearly 300 students on roll. It received Good with Outstanding features at a recent Ofsted inspection and is aspiring to continue it's success. The Senior Leadership Team are friendly and supportive and the staff room is a warm and welcoming. The school would prefer an experienced teacher with specific recent Year 4 experience but, due to time constraints, will accept applications from a high quality NQT.

Requirements:

As the successful Year 4 Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 4/Key Stage 2.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Possess the passion to teach Key Stage 2 children.
