Year 3 Teacher Bedford

Simply Education are working closely with a Lower School in Bedford to recruit a Year 3 teacher to cover PPA time for 2 days a week starting at the end of September.

This is a 2 form entry school with excellent recent Ofsted inspection results. There is a strong, consistent and approachable senior leadership team that offer support and guidance to all of their staff.

The right teacher will need to be available on a Tuesday and Wednesday every week and the role will initially last until Christmas.

This small lower school has a friendly atmosphere and a caring ethos. Standards are high, however, so the right candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of teaching ability. The school would ideally look to appoint someone with previous experience of a part-time role so as to minimise any potential issues.

The Requirements:

As the successful Year 3 Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 3.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
