Year 3 Teacher

ITN Mark Education would like to welcome a passionate primary school teacher to apply for this Year 3 teacher vacancy in the Castle Vale area of Birmingham.

This school is much larger than average for its type. It is situated on the Castle Vale estate to the east of Birmingham. The good leadership of the headteacher, deputy headteacher and senior staff has demonstrated that there is a strong capacity to continue the improvements already made and to raise standards further. The school is a friendly and welcoming place, and parents and children are clear about how happy and safe they feel there. This, along with their consistently good behaviour, encourages pupils' desire to learn and they show a real pride in their work. Alongside the good behaviour that is encouraged by a system of effective rewards and sanctions, the school promotes pupils' personal development at least satisfactorily, with particular strengths in teaching them to keep themselves safe and healthy. A good level of care and support is provided for pupils. The school has developed good, effective and detailed tracking systems that provide senior managers and teachers with more information about how well their pupils are learning. Regular pupil progress meetings now help to highlight areas of underachievement and pupils who may be slipping behind.

We are looking for a primary teacher to maintain a high standard of teaching in Year 3. You will need to be imaginative and perceptive in your teaching approach and have superb rapport building skills.
