Year 2 Teacher Needed

Simply Education is working in partnership with a school in Colchester. The school are looking for an experienced, confident Key Stage 1 Teacher who will be covering a year 2 class. The candidate selected for this position will be required to plan and prepare lessons as the vacancy is up until the end of the academic year. The candidate will also be required to fill in for PPA cover.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated teacher who enjoys a challenge and truly wants to make a difference. The ideal candidate will need to have great knowledge of the national curriculum, plan and prepare broad, balanced and differentiated lesson plans and have confidence to deliver them.

The teacher requires:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP, BA Education, B.Ed, Cert Ed or equivalent
- You will ideally have experience teaching Key Stage 1
- Passion for teaching young children
- Possess a creative approach to teaching
- strong behaviour management
