Year 2 Teacher

A small and friendly infant school located in the centre of Corby are looking for an experienced Year 2 teacher to join their team. The post will commence in September and will be a full time, ongoing long term contract.

The school has a mixed socially diverse setting, therefore a strong classroom presence is a must. The school is a fast improving school which offers excellent resources and professional support.

The school are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, committed to raising standards and who will work well alongside a friendly and hard-working team. The chosen teacher will have experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1 (KS1) with solid references.

Job requirements:
- Relevant Teaching Qualification with QTS such as Cert. Ed, PGCE, B.Ed or BA with QTS.
- Proven experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1 (KS1)
- Strong classroom management skills with high expectations of pupils and the ability to adapt lessons at short notice.
- Reliable and dependable to cover placements.
