Year 1 Teacher in a Southampton School

Capita Education are working with an "Outstanding" primary school on the eastern side of Southampton for a full time Year 1 teacher to start as soon as possible. The school is on the eastern side of Southampton

The school has been graded as Outstanding and is working to maintain these standards.

You will be expected to use a range of assessment strategies to be able to match the children's learning to their needs whilst inspiring, supporting and challenging the children in their learning and thinking to help them to make better than expected progress.

You will be expected to take on full class responsibilities including the planning and preparation of the lessons that you deliver.

The position is for the summer term initially but there is the possibility of the post becoming permanent for the right candidate

You will be an enthusiastic, hard working person with a real passion for being a teacher and able to hit the ground running.

To be considered for the position you must:
*Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage One (KS1).
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary Teachers.
*Have a passion for teaching with the ability to deliver inspiring lessons.
*Have a professional and flexible attitude.

We are looking for a qualified person who is able to take control of the class, and treat them as their own. Any applicant should be confident of being able to really enrich the environments that they are placed in through strong classroom management and excellent planning. You will be required to teach pupils of all abilities and must be able to adapt your lessons to the specific needs of the class.
