Currently one of my top clients is in urgent need of xCP Developer/Documentum. My client is looking for a xCP Developer/Documentum who will happily join their team on a long term contract position based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understanding client needs and converting the business requirements to technical requirements by working in Agile Scrum Framework
- Collaborating with development team and other IT staff to set specifications for new applications
- Writing high-quality code to program complete applications on schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
- Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
- Design and deliver working software incrementally according to specifications (Agile Scrum)
- Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
- Perform unit and integration testing before launch
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

JOB BRIEF:

We are looking for a qualified xCP Developer to design and code functional programs and applications using Documentum xCP 2.2. You will work as part of an Agile team and individually with little supervision.

The Application Developer has good knowledge of JAVA programming language. They must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will also have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Proven experience as Documentum xCP developer 6-8 years
- Experience in designing and building applications
- Good Experience with Documentum 7.2
- Agile scrum experience (Must)
- Ability to program in Java (J2EE)
- Linux
- Subversion (SVN)
- Working Knowledge of JIRA
- Very good communication in English
- In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
- Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Great attention to detail and time-management skills
- Hands on knowledge in designing the reports in Jaspersoft Studio
- Good & hands on knowledge in Jaspersoft Server 5.6
- Knowledge on the deployment of reports
- Working knowledge in linking the reports to a Maintenix Front End system.
- Hands on knowledge of Java and Groovy.
- Hands on knowledge of test automation tools and devops.
- Working knowledge of SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP3/Crystal Reports 2008
