X4 Developers - Oracle 10,11g/DB2

A highly-regarded Federal Government department is seeking X4 DEVELOPERS for their Canberra office. This is to be working on a new and exciting project for a 2 month contract, with opportunities to extend.

Your responsibilities will include (but won't be limited to) the following:

- Develop code in accordance with Coding and Naming Standards
- Undertake unit testing and participate in code reviews/walkthroughs of all changes to ensure all changes meet business requirements as specified
- Work with Business Analysts to identify solution/s to issues
- Produce technical documentation as specified
- Experience in an Oracle 10/11g environment including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, SQL or CTL (proprietary language).

To be successful, you will need to possess the following:

- Have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with experience in interpreting business, legislative and user requirements.
- Have experience in following system and project management methodologies, including producing appropriate deliverables during each phase of a project
- Have experience in working in a project team and liaising with business and IT staff to resolve issues.
- Experience in relational database technologies, preferably Oracle and/or DB2.
- Previous government experience desirable
