X3 Senior Authorised Persons (SAP), 2 Senior SAP, 1 Lead SAP

A global Renewable Energy client is looking for 3 Senior Authorised Person (SAP), 2 Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) and 1 Lead Senior Authorised Person (SAP) focusing on Wind Turbines, to complete a freelance contract on an Offshore Wind Farm project in the UK. This role will start approximately 1st October 2015 up until approximately 30th September 2017. Working Pattern: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, with app 12 hours per day, 10 - 12hrs working days per week, weekends must also be expected.

TASKS:

SENIOR AUTHORISED PERSONS:
400 kV SAP & corresponding Control Engineer

- Responsible for ensuring compliancy with DE Electrical Safety Rules throughout the project
- Single point of contact towards National Grid during energisation and commissioning phase
- High technical skills and insight in Onshore Substation energisation and commissioning activities, including termination and testing of transmission/export cables

LEAD SENIOR AUTHORISED PERSONS:

- LEAD SAP 400 kV
- Responsible for ensuring compliancy with DE Electrical Safety Rules throughout the overall project
- Responsible for electrical issues accordingly to the affected Country's legislation and regulation
- Single point of contact towards National Grid during energisation and commissioning phase
- High technical skills and insight in on-/offshore substations & WTG's energisation and commissioning activities, including termination and testing of transmission/export cables

QUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATE

- Minimum 3 - 8 years of electrical working maintenance experience as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) operating under the clients HV safety rules
- Electrical engineering working experience knowledge and understanding of maintenance programs and planning
