THE COMPANY
ConSol Partners' client is a global information technology company who are looking for x2 Linux/Redhat Engineers to join the team. The project will need one resource to be based in central Brussels and one to be based in Anderlecht. This a very rewarding roll which will add to your existing impressive set of skills and experience.
THE ROLE
As a Linux/Redhat Engineer at ConSol Partners' client, the main responsibilities will be administration of the Linux infrastructure, assist in daily operations on systems like deployments, maintenance, patching, upgrading & securing. Manage, maintain and optimize the existing Linux environment. Participate in an on-call 24/7 support team. See more info on each role below.
ROLE 1 (FLUENT FRENCH 6 MONTHS CONTRACT +)
- Administer our Linux infrastructure on Blade and Power (Admin Linux Blade/X6/Power) and then Middleware layers (WebSphere/Tomcat/) according to current competencies. Extension to other layers possible
- Responsible for all Linux environment of MLOZ-IT including Production.
- Permanence (after 3 months rotating permanence) + Week-end intervention (every 4 weeks with a possibility of up to twice a month).
- Minimum 5 years
- Linux RedHat et/ou CentOS
- Virtualisation System
- Linux Admin
- Clustering
ROLE 2 (FLUENT DUTCH - 12 MONTH CONTRACT +)
- A Senior Linux Engineer with proven experience in a similar position (min. 3 years)
- RedHat Enterprise Linux (incl. Sattelite)
- Security hardening & patching
- Ansible Scripting
- Webservices/daemons (eg Apache, Tomcat, )
- Accompanying web/application technologies such as ElasticSearch, Logstash,
- Knowledge of MySQLDB, Oracle DB or SyBase is a definite plus
- Prior experience in supporting Dell and/or HP Hardware platforms is a plus
- You are fluent in Dutch or English.
