They are & and looking to expand their leading real-time geomechanical solutions to the energy industry. Geomechanics Field professionals help their customers eliminate or minimize formation fluid influx, drilling fluid loss, wellbore instability and stuck-pipe during drilling. They are the best trained and equipped solution available to operators to mitigate risk, improve safety and operational performance during well construction. Geomechanics Field Professionals receive comprehensive training in petrophysical, geophysical, geologic and geomechanical Earth modeling using our Drillworks family of software products for pre-drill, real-time and post-drill modeling projects. Working in field and office locations throughout the world, Geomechanics Field Professionals enjoy our closely knit community of technical experts who provide continuing development and support. We work in an ever-changing environment which thrives on innovation and ingenuity. This position is mentally demanding, requiring complex problem solving skills and the ability to master numerous software applications spanning several disciplines. Candidates should have five or more years' experience in field operations and a solid foundation in structural geology, log measurements (GR, RES, DT, RHOB, POR, PWD), mud logging and drilling operations. Experience in computer modeling and geophysics is also helpful. Candidates should also have a 4-year degree in engineering, geology, mathematics or physics with a 3.0 GPA or better and possess superior communication and PC skills. Candidates should be prepared to spend as many as 200 days/year working away from home in a field or office environment. While working on drilling rigs is a compulsory job component, many opportunities exist in RTOC's and other non-field assignments.
