X2 Client Representatives

A global Renewable Energy client is looking for x2 Consultants to work as Client Representatives - Export Cable Installation to work on their offshore wind farm project.

This is a four month freelance role to start 7th September 2017 up until 31st January 2018 with the possibility of extending further thereafter. This is an offshore role, onboard vessel departing from Zebrugge, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week shift pattern, 2 weeks on duty, followed by 2 weeks off duty.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain an accurate record of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase.
- To ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
- To ensure the contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
- Take part in preparing the DPR to be used.
- To ensure that the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
- To review and before execution phase commence and keep updated on changes in the documents.
- To attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and other discussions to ensure that all works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
- During all activities and where possible be present as a witness during installation, access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
- Take part in weekly safety walks with HSE representatives from the Client.

QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATES: 

- Must have full GWO's: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling
- HUET or BOSIET
- Medical Certificate

RECOMMENDED: 

- LOLER, CDM and IOSH Managing Safely
- Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role.
- Minimum 2 years. of relevant work experience within specific area.
- Must be IT proficient.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS:

The Consultants will be required to bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone.

The Consultants must have his/her own PPE equipment (Personal Protection Equipment)
