X-ray Technician Job

X-RAY TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Fayetteville, NC.

- X-ray Technician

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays.
- Develop and process radiological film.
- Log completed radiological procedures. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain examination rooms. Stock necessary office and radiological supplies.
- Request, retrieve and track films to and from other departments or centers.
- Compile and condense technical and statistical data for reports and records.
- Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
- Work closely with the physician to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients.
- Complete appropriate documentation on all patients examined.
- Perform related administrative duties as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 20 hours or more of instruction in digital radiologic technology approved by the Department of Public Health
- Completion of course in an approved X-ray certificate program.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Current certification by an approved Limited/Basic License/Certification in Radiology.
