WS02 Developers

WS02 Developer required by Whitehall Resources for a 6 month initial contract based in the Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Developer will work within the Development team, and may be involved in the development of existing products
- Carry out development in accordance with agreed requirements and development standards.
- Testing of products
- Assisting the Team Leader in examining packages of work and giving realistic timescales for completion
- Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions and/or workarounds;
- Completion of work allocated within agreed time, cost and quality criteria and providing progress reports as required.
- Management and control of all problems and change within their area of responsibility as required by Team Leader
- Prompt escalation of problems and risks.
- Play an active part in process improvement, awareness and compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all quality records

Essential Experience:
- Strong WS02 Experience
- Java/J2EE
- Knowledge of Agile approach
- Knowledge of full development life cycle
- Datamodelling
- Awareness of Risk, Change & Problem Management
- Awareness of Configuration Management
