Workstation Support Analyst

Yoh has a Fulltime-Contract opportunity for a WORKSTATION SUPPORT ANALYST to join our client in Greenville SC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Workstation Support Analyst to provide specialized on-site or remote technical support for Power Delivery field Meter Technicians in the Southern region.
- The Workstation Support Analyst position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, deployment, and tracking of IT products and services.
- The Workstation Support Analyst position ensures smooth integration of all Meter Technician systems including Panasonic CF-30 laptops, related communication hardware, meter probes, and metering software (calibration, testing, etc.).
- Additionally, this position will provide IT support for Power Delivery Meter Engineering, creating/maintaining Mainframe queries to determine if special project work is required, create/update meter profiles, perform meter investigations, perform other metering analysis as required and interact with other IT professional's to restore service and correct problems.
- Responsible for keeping assigned work and customers updated.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Workstation Support Analyst with three to five (3-5) years of experience and an Associate's degree in Computer Science (or related major) or equivalent work experience.
- Workstation Support Analyst needs demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills.
- Workstation Support Analyst with the ability to work effectively with customers, IT management and teammates.
- Possess a broad understanding of the design and functionality of a wide range of Workstation computers and peripheral equipment.
- Ability to resolve technically complex problems involving the Workstation infrastructure Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office suite products.
- Experience in the installation and re-imaging of base operating systems, software, peripherals and drivers.
- Ability to recognize priorities and multitask assigned work.
- Ability to work effectively and directly with end users, IT management and teammates.
- Wiliness to take initiative.
- Able to work independently.
- Experience using BMC Remedy to manage incidents.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related major) or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced technical training; A+ Certification; Microsoft Certification.
