THIS IT POSITION WILL HAVE 50% TRAVEL, INCLUDING OVERNIGHT TRAVEL. The PC Workstation Tech will report to multiple sites within an assigned service area, as directed. First few months will consist of site visits to inventory existing equipment and working pilot sites. The Tech will deploy IT equipment, inventory IT equipment, configure workstations, and troubleshoot hardware/software errors. Equipment configuration includes document and bar code scanners.

Candidate must be client facing and professional.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 5+ years of experience with PC deployment activity
- Minimum 4 years of experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Minimum 3 years of experience with direct client interaction
- Minimum 2 years of experience in team leadership role
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Adaptable to change in process or required activities
- Attention to detail
- Quick learner
- Professional appearance and behavior, including punctuality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Must be flexible with regard to work hours: schedule to be determined, but EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide assistance to technicians as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing assets
- Prepare systems for deployment
- Scan existing asset for applications and settings
- Interview clients to identify special considerations and other settings
- Use internal tools to execute replacement activity
- Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements
- Escalate quickly when issues arise

PREFERRED:

- Health care/Pharmacy experience
- Experience with Point of Sales Systems (POS) presently using Oracle
- Deployment experience
- Citrix experience
- Pharmacy information management software experience
- Windows 7/XP experience
