Workstation PC Technician

OUR CLIENT IS ONE OF THE NATION\'S LEADING HEALTH CARE ORGANIZATIONS SEEKING PC TECHS FOR MULTIPLE CONTRACT OPENINGS. This candidate will support a robust Microsoft based network with server, PC, MAC and laptop support and maintenance required.

UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF IT REPRESENTATIVES, DUTIES MAY INCLUDE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

- Installing and maintaining PC hardware and software
- Using client proprietary tools to execute PC activity
- Monitoring daily activity
- E-mail administration
- Executing equipment replacement activity
- Escalating quickly when issues arise
- Preparing assets for disposition
- Receiving assets, moving equipment within and/or between facilities
- Staging equipment for build/image activity
- Interviewing clients as part of pre-deployment asset discovery
- Updating asset management system to reflect work performed
- Troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals
- Performing system backups and data recovery
- Resolving network communication problems independently
- Disk capacity monitoring and network security
- Collaboration with teammates to identify process improvements
- Assisting other technicians as needed
- May also involve transporting equipment using a vehicle provided by supplier/contractor between multiple facilities within an assigned service area

REQUIREMENTS:

- BACKGROUND CHECK, DRUG SCREEN, DMV + VALID DRIVER\'S LICENSE REQUIRED, AND HEALTH SCREENING REQUIRED (WORKING IN HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENT)
- Significant experience in PC support, system deployment, hardware/software troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with direct client interaction - excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Understanding of network printing; IP Addresses; DNS; end-user PC and applications
- Must be adaptable to change in process or required activities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly
- Professional appearance and behavior, including punctuality
