WORKFORCE AND CLUB DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

MOBILE WORKING THROUGHOUT ESSEX

ANNUAL SALARY £22,443 - £28,922

FULL TIME, FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS

Active Essex, the Sport and Physical Activity Partnership for Greater Essex, together with our partners are committed to providing local sporting and physical activity to increase participation and widen access to sport and physical activity for the whole community.

We currently require a Workforce and Club Development Officer to support the delivery of the Active Essex Strategic Plan and our wider partnership activities, by shaping and delivering workforce, club development and volunteer development relating to sport, school sport and physical activity across Greater Essex.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or a relevant professional qualification, or evidence of relevant experience.
- A knowledge and enthusiasm for the Sport, School Sport and Physical activity landscape nationally and regionally and locally.
- A knowledge volunteering or workforce development in multiagency environment.
- Experience of effective working within a team environment and liaising with a wide range of contacts in a professional manner including National Governing Bodies, Schools, Local Authorities and other agencies.

Experience and highly competent at project management, planning, organising and
programme delivery within a multi partnership, multi themed setting. - A clean driving licence and access to a car is essential for this role as the successful candidate will be required to travel throughout Essex.
