Review claim activity based upon industry best practices and assess compliance of best practices. Develop strategies on Legacy claims (older than 12 months) to either bring claim to resolution or control costs. Evaluate reserve and settlement exposure. Review appropriateness of legal strategy.

SKILLS:

We require an individual with at least two full years handling and adjusting lost-time and litigated Workers' Compensation claims - this is more advanced than medical-only adjusting or medical billing. The candidate should be well-versed in lost-time claims, to include high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation strategy, and MSAs.
