Workers Comp RN Case Manager Job

WORKERS COMP RN CASE MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Oakland, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Previous Case Management experience
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide telephonic case management and utilization review for workers compensation claims
- Utilize clinical experience and judgment to determine medical necessity
- Develop treatment plan and monitors clinical activity
- Will work 32 hours/week

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- California RN license
- Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years working within an Occupational Health/Industrial environment
- Minimum two (2 years of experience within the last three (3) years evaluating patients and work processes from a variety of industries
- Knowledge of current California Workers Compensation system and laws
- Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission and other federal/state/local regulations
- CCM or COHN certification preferred
