Worker's Compensation Support Job

WORKER'S COMPENSATION SUPPORT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HOUSTON, TX.

- Claims

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Administer the company's Return to Work Process (including workers compensation claims, Fit For Duty (FFD)
- Administer an early return to work on lost time claims and work with the facility to ensure return to work
- Monitor and assist with return to work for Non-Industrial Injuries
- Assist with the daily handling of the company's workers compensation claims
- Provide updates to managers and employees and respond to questions from the field and HSE personnel in regards to RTW process, status and/or claims issues and general topics
- Process all invoicing related to Workers' Compensation, Non-Work Injury Fit For Duty Evaluations and First Aid Management
- Update RTW, Workers' Compensation Information
- Maintain all related policies and files (Workers' Compensation and Modified Duty, FFD and PAT )
- Participate in the Leave and Accommodation Committee as a subject matter expert
- Assist with various Work Comp Projects as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two to five (2-5) years claims experience is required
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and guidance
- Must possess outstanding verbal and written communications skills
- Must display a 100% personal commitment to client's safety objectives and to building a culture of Safety First
- Must demonstrate sensitivity towards confidential business and personnel information
- Must be thoroughly fluent in the use of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and FrontPage

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Some college preferred
