Workday Transition Manager

My client, a global brand, is looking for a Workday Transition Manager with experience in both project and BAU roles. You will act as the interface between the BAU and Project teams for new releases/enhancements and configurations within Workday. You will need to have a global mindset and have the ability to understand and balance the needs of developed and developing markets

The role will ensure alignment and connection between the needs of those markets that are live on Workday and the teams who are deploying to new markets. You will be managing the refresh, rebuild and prototype update requirements of the deployment tenants during the deployment window

You will be the principle steward for the Workday production tenant, ensuring all changes to the environment are managed and governed with appropriate change control. You will also coordinate regression testing of the Workday releases three times per year. As well as this you will highlight the impacts of new release deployment on existing production functionality.

Our client is looking for a true problem solver who can think on their feet, work at a high energy and enjoys creating new processes. It would not suit someone who likes to work on proven methodologies.

Strong stakeholder management skills is essential along with knowledge and proven experience managing the production environments and the implementation of new releases within Workday.

You will have the flexibility to work from home with occasion travel to their London office. The role is an initial 3 month assignment with the possibility of being extended. There is also the possibility longer term for a permanent position within the organisation.
