Workday cutover Lead - West London

The Cut-over Lead role within HR Transformation Programme is responsible for the planning, communication, and delivery management of cut over events for the upcoming release in a live production environment.

The Programme is tasked with rolling out a complex HR business transformation to the global businesses.

The roll-out includes a global process model, Workday HCM and technical integration as well as a range of supporting technologies.

Position Description:
Reporting to the Cut-over Manager, the role works closely with the Business Deployment, Testing, Service Transition and operational support teams in a Matrix managed global setting. The role sits in a Global Cut-over team, but will be assigned to a geographic region.

The hands-on role is responsible for the development, communication, execution/control and monitoring of an integrated cut over execution plan for the rehearsal and production release events using a structured deployment methodology.

The role will involve all of the following:
Based on the Global cut-over strategy, development and maintenance of the cut-over strategy, sub-approaches and processes for the assigned geographic area.

Communication and awareness sessions for the assigned geographic area to ensure understanding of approach as well as roles and responsibilities during the rehearsal and the actual cut-over event.

Tracking of the readiness criteria and operation of event entry gates, including mitigation and recover planning as required

Development and maintenance of the structured cut-over plan and the operation of control processes for all cut-over components, including (but not limited to):
o Business shutdown, interim processes and business startup
o Movement of technical changes to production
o Data migration and reconciliation of data loads
o Security access and authorisation for production user assignments
