PART TIME - 18.5 HOURS PER WEEK

FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS

ANNUAL SALARY - JNC POINTS:

8-11 (1 PROJECT £18,291 - £20,591) OR 12-15 (1 + PROJECTS £21,525 - £24,166) PRO RATA

BASILDON

We are seeking a Work Experience Team leader to join our team and cover the South Essex area, based in Basildon. Work Experience consultants are responsible for attracting businesses to take on young people for short and long term work experience placements. The successful individual will work with client companies, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their needs and requirements to ensure of a successful placement.

The role of a Work Experience Team Leader role is very sales orientated, although it also involves helping young people and organisations.

Typical work activities:

*using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies

*working towards targets that may relate to the number of young people placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated

*building relationships with clients

*developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment

*using internal database to manage your clients and young people's data

* working with young people to assess their work aspirations

*organising interviews for young people as requested by the client and school

*informing young people or the school about the results of their interviews
