WMS Test Lead

Title: WMS Test Lead
Type: Contract- 1 year
Location: Johns Creek, GA 30097

Our client is seeking a WMS Test Lead for a 1 year contract position in Johns Creek, GA.  The successful candidate will perform the following strategic testing roles for the AGS WMS program: Lead Testing Advocates and up to 5 contract testing resources to support the WMS testing. The WMS Test Lead will be responsible for the creation of test plans, test schedules and test cases and the manual execution of testing and the creation of defect reports.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE, MANHATTAN ASSOCIATES WMS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.  PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH HP QUALITY CENTER AND/OR APPLICATION LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT A PLUS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Serve as a Subject Matter and Process Expert.
- Work with the enterprise test management team and PPQA to ensure client's Q4M processes and methodologies are followed.
- Create high level sizing estimates for all testing activities.
- Collaborate with Senior Testing Advocates to utilize the current budget to plan testing resources by project/phase/month to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Organize and drive testing strategies to completion by actively monitoring/overseeing the testing process (including functional, systems, integration, and performance).
- Report status to Program Manager by partnering with project manager.
- Serve as initial escalation point for program level risks/issues.
- Develop/Support overall Test Strategy and Master Test Plan for program.
- Ensure communication and collaboration between all testing resources and the project team.
- Report status to senior management.
- Manage senior business partner expectations and relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5 plus years experience in testing, 3 plus years in a lead capacity.
- Experience planning, sizing and leading large test efforts.
- Experience in communicating with/presenting information to all levels of management.
- Experience in multiple test techniques.
- Leadership experience required.
- Automated testing tools experience a plus.
- Browser-based client testing experience a plus
- Unix,Oracle and Mainframe testing experience a plus.
- Understanding of retail concepts a plus.
- Supervisory or management experience a plus.
- Industry experience in distribution centers and direct to consumer concepts and processes.
