Wireline NOC Technician Job

WIRELINE NOC TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Plano Texas.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Wireline NOC Experience
- Juniper Core
- Juniper Mx Bras and Cisco Asr
- Calix/adtran access
- Tellabs Access

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Candidate will have the responsibility for break/fix in the fault management process. This includes, identifying alarms, assessing root cause of alarm, implementing fixes, and as needed, opening trouble tickets for escalating tickets to the next level.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 10+ years of exp in NOC (Network Operation Center), Wireline Technologies (Cisco LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, Routers, Switches), CCNA Certifications.
- Wireline NOC Experience
- Juniper Core Experience
- Juniper Mx Bras and Cisco Asr Experience
- Calix/adtran access experience
- Tellabs Access experience
- Expertise in NOC tools and processes is a critical skill
- Proven experience in system and tool deployment and cutover is critical
- Five (5+) years of Experience in designing and documenting process changes, tool methods and procedures and training will be important to a successful project.
- Candidate should be versed in Wireline technology including TDM and IP - particularly in a fiber access environment.
- Some hands on vendor experience, of particular interest, include Cisco, Fujitsu and Tellabs.
- Previous Tier 1 NOC experience is critical
- Could require late shifts
