Wireless Support Engineer

A great position has arisen to work as a Wireless Support Engineer in Brussels, Belgium. For a Market leading Telecommunications company.

Job title: Wireless Support Engineer

Contract: 3 months initially

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Essential Skills and Requirements:

- Huawei Kit knowledge:GBSS 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA Radio Knowledge & LTE
- Fluent in ENGLISH and FRENCH (Dutch will be an advantage)
- Experience on BSS software testing in telecom industry,
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL and Unix (to support BSS management system platform)
- Usage of best practices on testing process and tools
- Good knowledge of 3Gpp protocols, GBSS & LTE including trace analysis.
- At least one to two years of experience in a system testing role
- *Understanding of the software delivery life cycle
- *Clear communication with peers and direct managers
- Full domain of Microsoft Office

Duties:

- Plan, prepare and perform system tests
- Support on testing environment creation and operations
- Execute tests and report results
- Support customer during user acceptance test
- Track defects and resolutions
- Provide test support when system upgrades are being applied or new services are being launched
