WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software.
- Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
- Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems. Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems.

- Proficient in engineering cost estimates and economic analyses and models
- Proficient in specifying and evaluating architecture requirements.
- Proficient in translating architecture requirements into:
- Solution Architecture
- Engineering Plan
- Knowledge of Network Management, Tools and Protocols
- Configuration Management/Gold Standards
- IP network Address Management (VLAN assignment),
- Performance and Capacity Management
- Knowledge of Virtualization, Storage and Content Delivery Networks (Cloud, CDM, Grid, SAN).
- Knowledge in voice, video, and app technologies/protocols (circuit, VoIP, SIP, Camel, etc.)
- Knowledge in wireless Data services (SGSN, GGSN, PGW, PCRF, and OCS).
- Knowledge in message and conference systems and networks (SMS, MMS, unified communications, video).
- Knowledge of wireless technologies standards and protocols (3GPP,LTE, Wi-Fi, eNode B, MME, propagation, interference, spectrum)
