Our urgent client based In Eindhoven, Netherlands is looking for a WINTEL ENGINEER for a position in a high-end client manufacturing client. Our role consists of someone who has a Bachelor's Degree and 7-8 years of IT industry experience, with last 5 years in Data Centre Management.

Windows System Engineer-L2Server Support - Wintel - Works independently towards providing support for escalatedincident/problem management requirements (L2 support Add/Remove Domain/Domain Controllers, Trusts Administration, Sites And Subnets Administration Site LinksAdministration,Global Catalog Servers,Movement Of Users Between OU,Organization Units Administration,Group Policy Administration,Implementation Of Group Policy, Domain Controller OS and HardwareAdministrating Server Performance, optimization and fine tuningChecking the ADS healthChecking network healthEstablishing VPN Connection, IP Security, Administering Terminal ServicesAdministering Certification ServicesAdministering DHCPImplementing DNS ServiceImplementing IIS Service,Implementing RAS serviceImplementing RADIUS ServiceSetting up FTP ServersImplementing IAS ServiceAdministrating IASDomain Controller issues to be resolved with in the time frame.Resolve alerts indicating the following services are not running: FRS, Net Logon, KDC,W32Time, and ISMSERV.Administrating SYSVOL folder,Resolve alerts indicating that the domain controller is not advertising itself,Resolve alerts indicating time synchronization problems,Administer Domain Controller Hardware Monitor overall services of Windows 2003 OS,Monitor the network link between the sites and DCs,Review the Duplicate Service Principal Name Report to list all security principals thathave a service principal name conflict.Expert on different Wintel Technologies and OS related applications, resolves at least80% of calls routed to him/her, without having to dispatch to service partners.In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting on Wintel Plateform and knowledge of server maintenance/configurations (Windows Server OS, VMware, Citrix,Novell).

- Must have a minimum of 5-6 years of Windows Server administration
- Performs moderately complex Windows 2003/2008/2012 system administration.
- Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance.
- Sound knowledge on Clustering - MSCS and NLB
- Collects and reviews system data for capacity and planning purposes.
- Analyses capacity data and develops capacity plans for appropriate level enterprise-wide systems

KNOWLEDGE:

- Antivirus and Patch Management.
- Knowledge on VMware and Storage
- P2V of servers
- Must be a strong team player and able to explain complex technical issues to less experienced audiences.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with vendors, subcontracting team and customers. Cover enterprise production
