Wintel Team Leader

I am currently recruiting for a Wintel Team Leader for a leading Financial Services client.

I have outlined the role details below.

Role: Wintel Team Leader
Rate: Varies
Location: Manchester
Contract Length: 3 - 6 months initially

The Wintel Team Leader will:

*To develop and maintain partnership relationships with key vendors and technical authorities in order to assure technology alignment with the market for current and emerging technologies.
*To provide a high level of assurance, expertise, support and advice in the delivery of solutions and associated services in-line with industry best practice.
*To enable team development through guiding, supporting and offering expert technical advice to colleagues and acting as a role model within the team to improve service delivery and aid individuals in reaching personal objectives.
*To lead and co-ordinate small teams to deliver project activities within overall infrastructure change projects to agreed timescales and quality.
*To actively identify, promote, seek opportunities for and deliver service improvements and develop, encourage others to do so.

Experience for the Wintel Team Leader

*Minimum 3 years Wintel experience.
*Desirable - wider knowledge of general IT disciplines such as Networks, Operating Systems etc.
*Experience doing a similar role in a large organisation.
*Proven track record of delivery.
