Wintel System Engineer - Switzerland

For our client, an international provider of supply chain solutions inBASEL , we are looking for a  WINTEL SYSTEM ENGINEER

3 MONTHS CONTRACT (ASAP) - OPTION OF EXTENSION

TASKS:

- Perform Windows OS and server Administration within our main Datacenters
- Define System/OS Architecture and Design
- Manage System/OS Change and release Management
- Participation in IT Projects
- Conduct monitoring, DR and Performance Test of critical IT services
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- on-site support Basel

REQUIREMENTS:

- Completed degree in information technology
- At least 5 years' experience in System and OS Administration
- Server/OS certification beneficial
- Experience with high availability solutions
- Founded Knowledge in server technology
- Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft OS and solutions (Clustering, AD, SQL, CSV, SCCM, etc.)
- Deep knowledge and experience with virtualization solutions (Vmware, HyperV)
- Know-how in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Experience in an international environment
- Good project management and organizational skills
- Result-driven and reliable team player
- Flexibility for exceptional workloads and weekend interventions
- English, written and spoken
