Wintel System Administrator

We are hiring a WINTEL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR to work onsite at our client in JERSEY CITY, NJ.

- TITLE: WINTEL System Administrator
- LOCATION: JERSEY CITY, NJ
- DURATION: 6 MONTHS +, WITH ROLLING RENEWALS
- TERM: CONTRACT/C2C
- CLIENT: BANKING/FINANCIAL
- RATE: MARKET
- MUST HAVE RECENT INVESTMENT BANKING/FINANCIAL/INSURANCE EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED)
- Server builds, configuring chassis, installing firmware
- Building ESX Cluster environment with instructions, standalone server builds
- Work with partners in driving the run the bank support
- Experience supporting Windows Servers in a large enterprise environment for the past 3 years
- Working knowledge of TSM Backup/Anti-Virus/Tivoli monitoring technologies
- Experience working with HP server hardware
- Windows Clustering
- EXCELLENT VMWARE KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
-Scripting, ADO, VB Scripting knowledge (advantage)
- Web development, ASP pages (advantage)
- An understanding of SQL
- Considerable experience in building Servers, monitoring queues
- Solid knowledge of at least three of the following - Monitoring Clustering, Active Directory, Citrix, VMWare
- At least 5+ years of experience supporting Windows platform
- Good understanding of the demands of building Servers under tight SLA's
- Interpretive & persuasive written & verbal communication skills
