Wintel Engineer (s35)

WINTEL ENGINEER - 6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT - EXCELLENT WORKING ENVIRONMENT

MY CLIENT IS ONE OF AUSTRALIA\'S LARGEST BANKING AND  FINANCIAL SERVICES GIANTS WITH OFFICES THROUGHOUT SYDNEY.

We are looking for Network Engineer with significant Wintel experience  to drive key reports and processes within particular departments. The role will also provide the opportunity to expand to leading further service improvement initiatives across the team.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:

- Scan systems  to get vulnerability report for Windows Servers in a  different environment
- Security Patching
- Prepare pre and post patching reports
- Monitor Business critical applications

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

- Significant experience in a Service Desk environment or level 1  Engineering role dealing with large complex systems within a Wintel Environment 
- Expert numerical skills
- Experience in reporting
- Detailed knowledge of MS Excel
- Exposure to SQL and general database skills
- Experience working in the Finance Industry
- Drive and a 'can-do' attitude is crucial
- Attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting skills

IN RETURN MY CLIENT IS OFFERING:   

- $550 to $650 per day (incl super) dependent on skills and experience
