Wintel Architect

This global organisation is seeking a Wintel Architect to provide services to their end client in the mining industry.

As a Wintel Architect, you will be involved in the design, document and present points of view with regards to the implementation of an enterprise wide server environment. This will include approximately 200 Intel Servers using Windows Server 2008 with SAP applications running on top.

Candidates must have strong skills in the following:

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Design of Wintel server enterprise environments
- Knowledge of SAP running in a Wintel environment
- Windows Server 2008
- Virtual Machine (VM)
- Proof of Concept
- Presentation/recommendation

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

- Candidate must be able to communicate the value and importance of architecture standards
- In a non-conflictive manner be able to challenge proposed solutions that do not correlate to architecture standards
- Clear and simple communication ability is essential
- Comfortable to professionally articulate architecture strategy and function to C level stakeholders

INFLUENCE

- Networking skills and professionally aware, the candidate should be able to provide examples of gaining influencing for strategic value
- Be a pro-active networker amongst industry peers
- Be pro-active in sharing their knowledge to appropriate team members
- Able to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders

DISCIPLINE

- Be punctual and timeline driven
- Thorough documentation skills
- Spends time and effort to research and deep dive into matters that require a full spectrum analysis

ROLE IS BASED IN SINGAPORE. CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE AND TRAVEL.
