Wintel and Network Specialist - Public Sector

Working with a newly established state agency, the person appointed will become a member of the core operations team with the responsibility for managing a range of infrastructure related projects from initiation through to roll-out, for routine maintenance and for troubleshooting issues working within agreed service levels.

The role involves:
* Implementing and migrating infrastructure systems and solutions from end-user computing to cloud services with Microsoft Azure and Office 365
* Designing core infrastructure solutions that integrate a range of technologies, ensuring efficient performance, security and manageability of networks and Servers
* Management of virtual Servers and network infrastructure (LAN and WAN)
* Liaison with connectivity providers
* Migration of services to O365 and Azure
* Management of telephony service
* Degree in IS/IT related discipline or equivalent
* 10+ years' experience in building and specifying LAN and WAN
* Proven background in systems design, implementation and migration, either internally or in an IT Services environment
* Windows Networking including IP Services
* Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
* Have a genuine enthusiasm for technology and a desire to maintain current with a range of technology trends, around the Microsoft Operating Systems
