We have an exciting opening with a leading Global IT Consulting Organization for a "Windows & VMware Consultant".
Position Title: Windows & VMware Consultant
Location of work: Madrid-SPAIN
Position Type: Contract
Language: Spanish & English
"Windows & VMware Consultant"following experience & Skills/Knowledge:
Candidate should have 8+ years of hands on experience on Windows and VMware.
Excellent communication Skills (Spanish for onsite and English for Offshore)
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Strong knowledge on Windows 2000, 2003 & 2008 including
a. Performance management
b. File and Print Management
c. Administration of corporate Active Directory, PKI, DNS & DHCP Services
Virtualization - Hyper V, VMware, Citrix (if know will be added advantage)
Should have good knowledge on Backup & Recovery (Backup Exec, Net backup etc.)
Should have worked with Windows Resource kit support Tools.
Expertise in DNS, DHCP & TCP/IP Protocol Suite and command line utilities.
Knowledge on System center Configuration Manager(SCCM) & System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
Scripting knowledge such as VB Scripts will be added advantage.
Should have worked with OEM hardware (HP/Dell) and remote connectivity tools.
Should have worked with more than one patching and antivirus tools.
Knowledge of windows registry, including knowledge of modifying system registry to support installed applications and document configuration changes.
Good knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
Should have knowledge and experience in performing root cause analysis (RCA).
Coordinate with offshore team and support related resolution on high priority incidents/changes.
Drive & coordinate for the Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Drive service improvement initiatives.
The Support will be provided during Spain Business Hours between Monday - Friday.
