One of my leading clients is looking for a French speaking System Engineer Windows/Unix.
Required experience/skills:
IT Generalist with architecture and documentation skills:
Experience in Windows and Unix Servers is IMPERATIVE
Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, VMWare ESX
Sun Solaris 10, Solaris zones (virtualisation)
Sybase 15, Oracle 10g, MS SQL (2005, 2008)
IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server
ETL (AbInito, Datastage PX)
Firewall, DMZ, Big-IP F5, network, protocols, ACE, Security
Citrix PS4, XenApp
Fluent in French and English, excellent interpersonal skills.
3+ years of general IT knowledge and integration implementation projects coordination
A minimum of 3 years of IT infrastructure delivery technology
About the job:
As part of the IT Infrastructure Integration Program, the client has launched an IP migration project.
Based on the IP migration scope and in respect with the security requirements of the target model (application zoning).
The project has already an architect assigned but there is a need for a hands-on profile to assist in the documentation creation and information gathering:
Participate actively to project coordination meetings
Review existing business applications architecture designs from an infrastructure and network perspective
Document missing business applications architecture (network flow diagrams, Firewall rules identification)
Do the impact analysis on business applications if IPs have to migrate in the application zoning target model
Do the gap analysis between the current business application design and application zoning target model
Coordinate, follow and support the implementation plan (out of business hours executions)
Good knowledge of MS Visio to document architecture designs
can do & hands-on attitude.
