Windows Technical Lead - Berkshire - Design, Authority, Lead

WINDOWS TECHNICAL LEAD - BERKSHIRE - DESIGN, AUTHORITY, LEAD - GLOBAL ORGANISATION

Etonwood are currently assisting a global organisation in Berkshire in their search for a Windows Technical Lead Architect. They are looking for an organisation to take ownership and leadership of the Wintel environment during a major storage migration (IBM to EMC storage). This individual will be responsible for liaising with both senior stakeholders and technical Wintel teams to ensure the migration doesn't impact the Server and Desktop environment.

The core responsibilities for the role are:

- Liaise with technical teams and business units to ensure the migration of data is successfully migrated in accordance with best practice.
- Provide technical assistance to the windows teams to establish requirements for GPO changes.
- Initial discovery of the environment to develop a high-level plan for the migration.
- Provide a detailed business case for the migration.
- Provide technical guidance, governance and assurance to ensure the successful migration. 
- Manage the Wintel environment through the full migration to EMC VNX.
- Own the relationship between Project Managers, Leads, Technical teams and Business Stakeholders.
