WINDOWS SYSTEMS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Base supported technologies: Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Server hardware technologies
- System support, engineering and/or administration experience in a relevant platform
- Experience patching Windows Servers, Desktops, and Virtual Workstations according to department standards
- Experience Designing Networks

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Supporting the Windows team and Windows security in a very large Enterprise Environment
- Work with various engineering, application, and business communities to establish and improve processes and procedures related to the underlying technologies and solutions
- Responsible for leading event, incident, and problem resolution within Enterprise class systems architecture.
- As a Systems Engineer you will be joining a growing organization that provides the tools and resources to lead to an exciting career in Information Technology.
- You will work in Systems Engineering disciplines such as UNIX, AS400, Windows, Middleware, Storage, Reporting, and Database Administration.
- You will be responsible for DESIGNING, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting components of our systems infrastructure.
- This position evaluates and integrates software and hardware requests. You'll play a key role in providing resolution to system issues ensuring the availability and continuity of our infrastructure resources.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three (3) plus years of experience with base supported technologies: Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Server hardware technologies
- Three (3) plus years system support, engineering and/or administration experience in a relevant platform
- Experience patching Windows Servers, Desktops, and Virtual Workstations according to department standards
- Experience with Microsoft Threat Management Gateway (TMG), Windows Update Service (WSUS) and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Knowledge of features of Active Directory, Group Policy and Certificate Authority technologies.
- Knowledge of Powershell, Vbscript, or other Scripting technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, including analysing symptoms and causes, identifying and defining the problem to be solved, collecting data, establishing the facts, drawing valid conclusions and developing solutions.
- Demonstrated customer service support ethic and focus to deliver the highest, most consistent level of customer service to our customers.
- Experience with incident and problem resolution

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Microsoft certifications
