Windows Systems Engineer

Our client in King of Prussia is looking for a Windows Systems Engineer for a 12 month contract engagement, supporting network hardware initiatives supporting in-house IT projects. They will provide security recommendations for the infrastructure environment, including penetration testing and best practices for securing an enterprise network environment. They will take part in the administration and trouble-shooting of Exchange 2010, as well as routine preventative measures to implement, maintain and monitor network security. They will work closely with the applications group to provide guidance and advice concerning infrastructure issues. They will provide Level III support for hardware and operating system issues and document operational procedures and hand-off to the operations group.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting Servers in a Windows environment.
- Minimum of 3 years experience building and administering a virtual environment with VMware/ESX enterprise products, such as vSphere 4.x-5.x. in a clustered environment.
- Strong understanding of Security concepts, penetration testing tools, and monitoring software/hardware.
- Strong understanding of Windows Servers, Domains and Trusts, with understanding of Windows Services, such as DNS and DHCP.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory to include Group Policy, Secure Configuration and software installation/upgrade/removal via Group Policy Object (GPO).
- Experience administering and configuring backup systems, specifically utilizing NetBackup
- Strong experience with vulnerability identification and remediation;
- Valid Driver's license required as some local travel is required.
- Experience with CentOS 6-7
- Security Certification such as CISSP.
