Windows Systems Administrator

THE ROLE:

Our client is a smaller federal agency with highly specialised responsibilities across natural resource management and reporting. They are a highly sought after employer and attract high calibre technical staff across a range of specialisations.

They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Windows Systems Administrator for an initial contract period through to 30 June 2015, however there is the strong possibility of extension through to the end of the calendar year.

This is a broad support role that requires a positive and adaptive attitude, a solid technical grounding in a windows environment, and a strong client focus.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Active Directory 2003/2008
- Microsoft Exchange 2013
- Server 2003 through to 2012 R2
- SCCM 2012 for server patching
- Proven Exchange administration and migration in a multi-forest environment
- Familiarity will an incident management system (LAN Desk)
- Experience troubleshooting, and providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- The ability to self-manage and prioritize work load
- Capacity to maintain excellent customer service whilst working under pressure
- Proven ability to work closely as part of a team

You must be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN to be considered for this - however NO SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED.
