For our client, a leading European commercial bank in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring a

Windows System Specialist (f/m)

Starting date: March 2016
Length of the contract: 12 Months with possibility of extension

Task description:
*Provide support of desktop workstations and office automation products, including assistance to end users, problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and bug fixing
*Create, testing and document software deployment packages for IT services and applications
*Conduct desktop applications and software deployment packages acceptance tests according to predefined operational requirements to ensure appropriate hand-over/roll-out of IT services and systems/applications to production environment
*Manage system management software products and tools for administration, distribution and updating of desktop PCs such as Microsoft Management Console (MMC) MS SCCM (software distribution)
*Participate in the definition of concepts and design of complex Windows based systems and infrastructure including high availability solutions
*Deploy, configure, support test environments on daily basis, integrating business applications under development with the standard infrastructural components and documenting installation and operational procedures for further deployments in Data Centre Operations
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical, configuration management and inventory documentation related to third-party Windows based software, transfer knowledge to colleagues and ensure sufficient documentation is available

Your profile:
*Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, information system security or related disciplines
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2012 and Windows 7 preferably at system administration level
*Experience in installing and administering advanced third-party tools (e.g. Data Analysis software)
*Experience with network connectivity, including proxies and firewalls, Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based software packaging
*Very good command of English with proven drafting ability
