Windows System Engineer (Wintel) urgently required for interesting contract in Eindhoven
6 month rolling contract based in Eindhoven

The Windows System Engineer (Wintel) will be Responsible for the following:

. Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of Windows Server administration
. Performs moderately complex Windows 2003/2008/2012 system administration.
. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance.
. Sound knowledge on Clustering - MSCS and NLB
. Collects and reviews system data for capacity and planning purposes.
. Analyses capacity data and develops capacity plans for appropriate level enterprise-wide systems
. Antivirus and Patch Management.
. Knowledge on VMware and Storage
. P2V of Servers
. Must be a strong team player and able to explain complex technical issues to less experienced audiences.
. Proven ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with vendors, subcontracting team and customers.
. Cover enterprise production
. In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting on Wintel Platform and knowledge of server maintenance/configurations (Windows Server OS, VMware, Citrix, Novell).

The Windows System Engineer (Wintel) will ideally have the following skills and expertise:

. Microsoft Windows Server technology
. Web Server technologies
. DFSR support and administration
. Windows Systems backup and restore using various tools/utilities
. VMWare ESX and Virtual Center virtualization technologies for a minimum
. Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server
. Solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (protocols, software & HW components)
. Citrix Access Gateway/Netscaler
. Software Delivery/Unattended installation
. Patch Management/Windows Software Update Services
. Windows Deployment Services/Remote Image
. Asset Management
. Enterprise Anti Virus and Fax
. Linux
. Single Sign On
. Scripting languages for systems management
