"Windows System Engineer" PL/SQL, VSP, Active Directory, Symantec
Experis is seeking a "Windows Engineer" to join an international team with a prestigious leading company in the beautiful city of Zurich
Main tasks:
The successful Windows engineering/support specialist shall help support the infrastructure of our clients structured products trading IT operations team. The focus of the role is to provide support to the existing team in terms of the Windows server and Active Directory systems as well as some project work contributions.
Scope of Work:
- Maintain existing Windows server environment (2003/2008)
- Windows system administration duties
- Update the Active Directory including group policy creation and administration
- Backup and restore with Symantec Backup EXEC
- Storage support (VSP Hitachi)
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of working experience with SharePoint technologies
- Good knowledge of maintaining high availability, high volume Windows server environments
- Solid Active Directory skills
- Experience in supporting complex environments
- Experience in data migration and decommissioning is a plus
- Experience working with Sybase Database
- Trading technology knowledge such as exchange connectivity and trading applications is nice to have
- A proactive and flexible personality with the ability to work under pressure is required
- Communicative, motivated, self-starting team player is a must
- German AND English language skills are both in written and spoken form ideally required
- Education required is at MSC, BSc level
Work place is Zurich
Start Date is planned for 01.02.2013
Interviews are to be planned in the coming 5 work days from mid January onwards
