Our client located in Hainaut is currently looking for a WINDOWS SYSTEM ENGINEER. The WINDOWS SYSTEM ENGINEER will maintain and improve the Servers and the WINDOWS INFRASTRUCTURE.
Location: Hainaut
Duration: 6 months
Scope of work:
* The scope is worldwide but the task execution will be done centrally in Seneffe
* Maintain and improve the current Xservers/Windows infrastructure.
* Participate actively to the conception or evolution of the engineering, normalization, installation, configuration and system administration.
* Guarantee the documentation quality for our Operations team (DAT, DMEX, DMS).
* Level 3 support:
* Participate acely to the IT competence centre in terms of hardware, software, Middleware.
* Guarantee the quality of the IT projects to assume.
* Guarantee the communication quality required by the position.
* Share and involve their colleagues in his/her projects and daily activities.
* Maintain and improve the current KPIs.
* Participate to the day to day life of the ESI teams.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of VMware technologies
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 Operating Systems and their administration (including FSRM)
* Good knowledge of Microsoft middle suite (SQL, IIS) eventually Sharepoint 2007/2010.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory security administration
* Good knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and Windows 2008 quota management.
* Good Knowledge of command line and VB Scripting development (system related, not application development)
* Good knowledge of IBM X-Servers hardware infrastructure (including Blade Center, network LAN & SAN related).
* Good knowledge in project management
* Knowledge of IBM Systems management related tools and processes
* Knowledge of Additional Scripting tools (PERL, PHP, ASP) is an asset
* Knowledge in Cloud computing is an asset
* Knowledge in IBM Pure system is an asset
* Ability to report in project mode to a technical audience
* Fluent in English both writing and speaking
* Fluent in French both writing and speaking
* Rigorous and structured mind-set and approach to work activities
* Stress resiliency, flexible time schedules (available on week-end, if needed)
* Working experience in a structured enterprise (more than 5 years)
* Experience in a similar task is an asset
