For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Operations engineer to support Trade Finance Services

Most of the effort in the team is focused on support our TFS Operations.
Operations works in the field of Letters of Credit and Guarantees.
TFS is used in 25 countries all over the world.
The challenge for the team in 2016 is to keep up with Life Cycle management issues.
Our Windows system needs upgrades from W2008 to W2012. You'll be part of this challenge.

The Operations Engineer Role Windows System Administrator (QR3902) :
- This team ensures that the systems, Mainframe and Windows are up, and applications are running properly. The applications concern software packages from CSI with has many interfaces to other internal systems.
- The DevOps teams exist of engineers who are collectively responsibility for the Development, Quality Assurance/Testing and Operations of their systems, and each role has specific responsibilities.
- DevOps teams use the Agile Scrum Methodology and Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices.

Required experience & skills Windows System Administrator (QR3902) :
- You have DevOps mindset with a strong drive to get things done. You automate. You collaborate. You communicate.
- You are an awesome Windows System Administrator and know everything there is to Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2 Core and running these in mission critical environments.
- You must have an experience in Production/Critical Application support.
- You know how to design, implement and maintain an environment providing IT for 500+ employees spanning multiple locations and countries.
- You have designed, implemented and maintained similar sized office or campus environments.
- You have strong knowledge of Windows systems and internals combined with an solid understanding of networking and how Windows environments best works with the Linux world.
- Your core skill set may be Windows but together with your team you deliver a 'full stack' including Linux systems, databases (SQLserver) and a wide range of applications.
- Understanding of service-oriented model and ITIL concept, knowledge of major service lifecycle stages and main processes
- Have an understanding of Backup & Restore. (Differential, Incremental, Full)
- Must have an understanding of Vulnerable Critical Patch deployment.

You are familiar with some typical systems like Windows System Administrator (QR3902) :
- Active Directory, Domain Controllers, GPO's, DFS, DNS, DHCP, Wide range of Windows server applications used by our departments using SQL Server databases.
- Access Control (AD, LDAP, ADFS, tooling).
- Networking (Protocols like TCP/IP, SMTP,MPLS, routing,).
- Domain Name Services: bind, Microsoft DNS.
- Load Balancers from Windows.
- Understanding of virtualization concept, classification of cloud services (IaaS/PaaS)
- You believe in configuration management
- You know how to monitor your servers and applications to always know if they are giving us their best performance.
- You already worked in an Agile/Scrum team? That's a plus.
- You also have strong SQLServer administration skills? That's a plus as well.
- You also have knowledge on monitoring tools such as Nagios, whatsupGold, Solarwinds, SQUAD UP, TEP? That's a plus
- You have an experience in patch deployment ? That's plus
