Windows System Administrator - Migration Project

Windows System Administrator - Migration Project wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 5+ years' work experience as a System Administrator in Migration projects or in another relevant position
- Expertise in supporting Windows based infrastructure and application computing environment with large number of Servers
- Excellent knowledge of Windows-based operating systems beside familiarity with Network, Switches and virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Solid understanding of HBA technologies as well as an independent work approach
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Engaging in infrastructure projects and in 3rd Level daily incident management
- Providing 2nd Level Support of Windows distributed server environment liaising with Switzerland, EMEA and Global counterparts
- Understanding business priorities to adequately arrange work to meet business objectives and implementing improvements in Switzerland, EMEA and on a global scale
- Writing technical documentations for related infrastructure and installation work including Clustering, Filesystem, Symantec Enterprise volume management, NetBackup/Commvault and HBA's Technologies
- Supporting Windows system network connectivity configuration for migration project
