WINDOWS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

ONE OF MY LEADING TECH CLIENTS IN AMSTERDAM IS URGENTLY SEEKING A WINDOWS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT PAYING EXCELLENT RATES.

WINDOWS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR WILL IDEALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar function.
- Bachelor or equivalent working and thinking.
- A relevant training MCSE/MCITP level.
- Very good knowledge of, and experience with, (at least a large part) of the following products:
- Windows 7
- Windows Server (2008, 2012)
- Active Directory
- Group policies
- VMware (especially experience with migration to V6)
- Citrix
- RES
- System Centre products such as SCCM
- AMS or MS Orchestrator.
- Wealth experience and knowledge of automation Infra-related tasks using PowerShell/Scripting.

WINDOWS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development, integration, implementation and up-to-date of the (basic) infrastructure.

Of the various platforms: AIX, Sun, Apple and Windows, the latter is the most strategic. A team of 10 internal infrastructure developers and several outside specialists is responsible for the Windows platform. Invade this platform include products such as Windows 7, Windows Server, VMWare, System Centre, Citrix and Res.
