Intermediate Level Windows System Admin
MS Windows Server 2003 & 2008 R2
MS Exchange 2003 Administration
MS SQL Server 2005 & 2008 R2
MS SharePoint 2007 Administration
VMware 4.0 thru 5.1
MS Active Directory Domain Services and Group policy
Networking knowledge and common TCP/IP network protocols

Skills with the following technologies would be of extra value:
CommVault backup system
LANDesk (specifically anti-virus product)
IBM/NetApp SAN/NAS Storage

Responsibilities:
Accept and resolve problems and issues and implement change requests with the above mentioned technologies.
Monitor the County's MS Windows server technologies to ensure they are performing optimally.
Monitor the County's MS Windows server technologies to ensure pending problems are resolved prior to outages occurring.
Perform routine backups and ensure they are successful.
Install patches and upgrades as needed or requested by management.
Be involved in scheduled projects as needed.
Travel within the county for miscellaneous issues.
