LENGTH OF CONTRACT - 1 month, with possible extensions
START DATE - 3rd November
LATEST START - 10th November
Title: Windows 8.1 touch tablet specialist
Project: WINDOWS 8.1 AND SURFACE PRO 3 DEPLOYMENT (deployment will be very limited)
Task: Roll out Windows 8.1 image to surface pro 3
Skills:
Windows 8.1 and surface pro deployment (deployment will be very limited). ARCHITECTURAL LEVEL, someone who would know the difference between Windows 7 (which they use) and Windows 8.1 and the Back End/how to config on the domain etc (not just end user work) Role will require work on the architect side and the client side. Architectural knowledge on SCCM is also important.
Challenge:
They are a Windows 7 house, their windows 8 knowledge is limited and they require this to get the surface pro 3 pilot out.
Client are LOOKING TO RUN VERY LIMITED PROOF OF CONCEPT around SURFACE PRO 3 WITH WINDOWS 8
They want the person who comes in to DELIVER TO THEIR SENIOR EXECUTIVE TEAM why this should be the replacement for all other devices (iPads/laptops etc) and need the person to sell to them why this is the new single device to use
They have limited experience in deploying Windows 8.1 in the enterprise and the challenges with it and the surface pro 3
GOAL - Need THAT ENTERPRISE READY 8.1 KNOWLEDGE transfer, so they are set up to deploy.
